AI mentions reached 20.0% of postings in September; AI Security Engineer postings rose 268.3%.
AI & Jobs KPMG's October 15 CEO Outlook, with 400 US CEOs among 1,300-plus surveyed, has 89% expecting headcount to rise over three years and 53% planning reductions in some areas over two to five. Three in four say AI has made them rethink entry-level skills, and 81% expect AI costs to reshape margins more than labor costs.

Robinson agreed to buy RXO for $5.8B and said it expects about $300M of net cost synergies within two years of closing, 80% of it from running RXO on its Lean AI model and AI agents. The filings give no headcount for RXO. C.H. Robinson's own count fell 22% between 2023 and 2025.

AI & Jobs Nolla Health said on October 5 that Utah's AI sandbox lets its software issue first-time prescriptions for mild-to-moderate acne, which it calls a U.S. first beyond refills. Two physicians approve each of the first 100 prescriptions, then the AI issues them itself with after-the-fact review through 500 patients. It costs $4.99 a month.
